She’s back! Today I am welcoming back Performer/Teacher Lauren Busteed on Cue To Cue! The first time Lauren graced Cue To Cue she was in between contracts with Holland America Cruise Lines and was just about to embark on another adventure. She has returned to tell you all about it! What she has learned about herself and the artist journey over the last year and what now?!!

A little about Lauren:

Lauren hails from Oakville Ontario Canada and has had the privilege to live across Canada, the US and overseas. A graduate of Sheridan College’s Musical Theatre Performance program Lauren has appeared in many plays and musicals in Canada and the US some of her favorite theatre credits include Anne of Green Gables (Drayton Entertainment) Little Shop of Horrors and Nonsense (Stage West Calgary and Mississauga), Bye Bye Birdie (TIFT),Into the Woods (North Carolina Theatre).

Lauren has also worked Walt Disney Entertainment for five years performing as a featured singer-dancer on Disney Cruise Lines and Tokyo Disneyland. Lauren is currently about to start her second contract as a featured singer-dancer with RWS&Associates and Holland America Cruise Lines traveling the Pacific from New Zealand, Australia, Hawaii, and Alaska.

When Lauren isn’t performing she is teaching. A director and choreographer for youth theatre, a private voice, dance, and drama coach and recently Lauren became a fitness coach. Lauren has worked as Co-Director for T3 Triple Threat Youth Mentors in San Diego, instructor at Moonlight Stage Company and Raleigh Little Theatre in Raleigh North Carolina and most closely with Durant Road Musical Theatre in Raleigh North Carolina where she choreographed and directed many Jr Musicals and plays. Lauren is also a proud choreographer for Durant Road Musical Theater’s Junior Theatre Festival Team. Not a day goes by where she doesn’t think of the students and teachers at DRMT. Lauren is also a certified Les Mills Group Exercise instructor and has recently become a certified BeachBody Coach.
